If he was a fighter and I was working Bob Arum’s corner, I would do the honorable thing.
I’d throw in the towel signifying total submission.
He doesn't have egg on his face now. It's more like a half dozen omelettes.
But Arum won’t do that on the issue of whether Manny Pacquiao will fight for the WBO welterweight title held by Miguel Cotto on Nov. 14. I don’t think the 77 year old is having a “senior moment” here, I think he is just being a stubborn, old donkey.
I’m done explaining or defending Arum’s arrogant, insensitive attitude when his cash cow, Pacman, has the chance to break Oscar de la Hoya’s record by winning a world title in a seventh weight division.
